CNC Turning Service

Our CNC lathes enable high speed and quality turning of both plastics and metals. The turning process allows for complex external geometries and internal bores to be generated. Our turning capacity is available for prototypes through low-volume to High-volume production. Our CNC turning centers produce precision turned parts with tight tolerances down to +/- .0001” (+/-2.5 µm) but can produce parts with larger diameters.

CNC Turning Capabilities

Omega has more than 70 precision CNC equipment, which involves a great number of tool types, including three-axis, four-axis, and multi-axis machining centers, drilling and tapping centers, CNC lathes, and more than 20 ordinary machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, and grinders. Turning can perform many operations like turning, boring, threading, etc. Highly skilled machinists can create precision parts on all types of CNC lathes but contemporary machining centers help to assure a level of similarity close to being identical between the machined parts.

Machining Materials

Omega is able to machine components in a wide range of materials. These include metals like carbon & stainless steel, aluminum, titanium and copper alloys as well as plastics like nylon, PE, POM, etc. It is suitable for both prototyping as well as large-batch manufacturing.

Cylindrical Parts
CNC turning machines are the first choice for round or cylindrical parts. These parts can be machined quickly, accurately, and reliably with the CNC turning process.

Range of Processes
Other than generally used for round or cylindrical parts, CNC turning can also be used to carry out a variety of cuts, including drilling, boring, threading, knurling, etc.
